2015 has brought some great news our way so far. We recently found out that we have been shortlisted in the Green Company of the Year category in the Red Rose Awards.

This prestigious award nomination means a lot to us here at Low Carbon Energy, especially considering the record number of entries for this category this year. It’s great that we are being recognised for our contribution to reducing people’s energy bills and CO2 emissions, as well as improving and safeguarding the environment.

Beating tough competition

More than 50 judges, made up of sponsors, business leaders and independent experts, reviewed our submission and decided that Low Carbon Energy should meet the shortlist.

The Red Rose Awards were set up to celebrate Lancashire business, commerce and industry – so we feel privileged to be celebrating with some of the best in the community. In fact, the awards have an excellent reputation nationwide, and were named the best B2B award event of 2014, so it really is something we’re proud to be involved with.

The awards ceremony takes place in March 2015 so keep an eye out in future newsletters for the final results!
