With energy bills rising and little flexibility to save money elsewhere, Mr and Mrs Wright decided it was about time that they took control of any element they could, to help them make vital savings for their business and livelihood.
“We chose Low Carbon Energy because we had heard good things about them. The system they installed is of the highest quality and since installed we have been delighted with the outcomes.”Mrs Wright, Farmer, Ash Tree Farm
It soon became clear that the couple could take control of their energy supply and gain back a bit of independence and financial security through implementing solar power. Finding the right company to help them achieve energy security wasn’t hard. Having heard a number of good things about Low Carbon Energy from fellow farmers, the couple decided to get in contact with the team to see what they could do to help.
After discussing Mr and Mrs Wright’s requirements, Ged Ennis and his team recommended and installed a 30 kW solar panel system using 120 x 250 watt panels. The system will help the dairy farm to generate more than enough energy and benefit from around £6,000 in their pocket every year. It will also save 14 tonnes of C02 on a yearly basis and offer a return of investment in excess of 20%!
As part of the couple’s tailored package, they’re guaranteed remote monitoring of their system, enabling them to check yield and performance on a daily basis. This, in turn, will help Mr and Mrs Wright continue to make smart energy decisions as months and years go by.
Ged Ennis, Director, Low Carbon Energy adds:
“Mr and Mrs Wright were keen to get a control of their ever increasing energy costs.
“In stiff competition with a client who had clearly done their homework we were able to deliver a great result.”
